Week 30: Sweet Dreams

So, I have a major issue when I am prego.....I have some pretty crazy dreams. I wish I could say they were about aliens shopping at the commissary....But, they're a little more naughty than that. Really naughty.

It has gotten to the point where I have to be very careful about what I think about before I go to bed....

I went to lunch with a girlfriend a few days ago and right before bed, I thought about a conversation we had while dining.....sure enough....She was very much apart of my dream.....To the point where I could not even look at her during our last mommy and me playdate.

Last pregnancy, I would fall asleep watching House while Kory was gone and for six straight weeks I woke up feeling guilty because of the affair I was having with the famous diagnostic specialist.

I want to keep this G rated....So I will go no further....But, its bad....Really bad during pregnancy.

Sadly....My dreams are never with my husband. Well, I take that back....One time it was....And I was soo excited that I woke him up and told him about it. And then he said, "ya...it definitely was a dream."

My doctor said it was totally normal....Another odd symptom of pregnancy.

Week 29: Low Riding

Can anyone suggest a good pair of maternity jeans under $100?

Every single pair of my maternity jeans end up around my ankles by the end of the day! They sag sooo much around the crotch area.

I have tried every pair of jeans from Motherhood to Old Navy.....The lady who sold me the jeans at Motherhood said they were the "top of the line...No sagging...Best pair of jeans on the market."

I had high hopes for this pair of jeans....But, much to my disappointment, my crack was showing by noon.

What's a girl to do?

I already hate wearing maternity clothes.... I went into Motherhood the other day and it was sooo disappointing. All their shirts had these fufu ruffles which would make me look like a cupcake. My mom said maternity clothes has made such a come around since her day and age....But, I beg to differ.

On a lighter note.....I had another ultra-sound and everything looks great. Because of all Braxton's issues, we have ultrasounds all the time....With a perinterologist. Last time they were worried the baby was not growing enough, which they also said about Alexa....But lets remember one major fact, I am 4'11....My babies are not going to be huge. So, I was not too worried. When I was weighed on Monday, I had gained about 4 Lbs since that last ultrasound and sure enough.... The baby had yet again another growth spurt! Now she is right on track.

Off to week 30.

Week 28: Perfect Pregnancy

All my tests came back normal this week.

No preclampsia (BP is higher than it was in the past, but not worrisome.)

No Gestational Diabetes

Because of all Braxton's issues, I had to do some genetic testing.... (even thought Prune belly is not Genetic).... All that came back normal.

My weight gain is right on track....With a few LBS to spare!

I feel great

My energy is high

And I have not thrown up in three weeks!!!!!

Doctors are not sure what triggered the 10lbs weight gain in less than two weeks around my 20 week appt. It could be water retention....Baby hitting a growth spurt....Who knows. But, all is well. All is well.....Then again....All was well with Braxton too....Until his was born. So I guess the worrying will never stop.

And as am FYI.....My husband finally slipped. Even though the midwife dropped the ball....Twice. Kory mentioned the other day how he can't wait to see his daughter. SMILE! I cannot be too mad at him....He does his best.
