I read today....
Exercise helps prepare you for childbirth. Some studies suggest that the fitness level of the mother can result in a shorter labor, fewer medical interventions, and less exhaustion during labor. Being in shape will not decrease the pain, but it definitely will help give you the endurance needed to get through labor.
I have yet to have a baby in less that 20 hours....Honestly, with this kid....I do not care how bad the pain is...I just want to have the baby during ONE nurses shift. Long labors are the pits.
But...Let me just say...I worked out with both of my kids....Down to the last week....And let me just say this....IT DID NOT HELP ME ONE BIT! Most of my friends who DID NOT work out had much easier and faster labors than me. So even though I am still working out with this pregnancy (sanity reasons...I get mental if I do not lift at least a few weights during the day)....I am not expecting the exercise is going to help me through the labor....Because it never has in the past.

Week 9: Getting Fat
I haven't really gained any weight....Maybe a pound or two....Mainly because I am not running on the treadmill like a CRAZY person....Oh my gosh, that is the way I really burned the buTtar!!! Or the fact that I am not lifting a crazy amount of weights every day......NEEDLESS TO SAY.....Despite my efforts to conservatively eat this pregnancy (meaning, eat what I should, and not pig out!) has been ridiculous...I am 9 weeks preggo and I look fat....Or bloated. So now people think I just am gaining weight. I feel gross.
Week 8: S-L-E-E-P
Thank heavens we have a gym membership! Otherwise, I would be gaining weight like crazy.....There is NOOOOOOOO way in **** I could wake up early right now to work out! I could seriously sleep 12 hours a night and still wake up tired. Not to mention that I am tired all day. This is an AWFUL pregnancy symptom....And one that will not go away. I am a girl that needs my sleep and to never feel satisfied....Well, its killing me!

Week 7: My boobs hurt!
Week 6: McChicken Sandwiches
I hate McDonalds. I am a Chick-Fil-A girl! But, McDonals has their chicken nuggets at $.99 cents....So I have been tempted to go there...Especially since my kids are crazy about their fruit and yogurt parfait. I usually do not get anything....But now, I am craving their completely unhealthy McChicken sandwich. I could eat 10!!!! Now, I am determined not to gain more than 30 LBS with this kid....So I limit myself to one.....But I am sooo embarrassed to even admit this ultra UNHEALTHY craving. Maybe its because they do not have any Jack N the Box's here. I did nothing but crave their two tacos for a $1 my entire pregnancy with Alexa. It got to the point where they knew who I was at the time of the order. Sad.
Week 5: B ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kory always knows when I am preggo....BEFORE THE POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST. Why? Because I am the biggest ***** to him during pregnancy and it starts at conception. I have no idea why he annoys me sooo much!!! Seriously....If you were to take me to get professional help.....I could not say one bad thing about him to the therapist....He is the best hubby EVER!!!!!!! I could not ask for more.....But, I just lose all reason and get irate at him over the smallest of issues. I feel awful...Because I feel myself being ridiculous, but I cannot help it! If there were not so many law commercials asking women who took certain meds during pregnancy to claim money if their baby had a birth defect, I WOULD GET ON SOMETHING!!! I am out of control! People say women get the shaft with the whole giving birth thing....But I think guys should get a few more props for what they have to deal with!
Week 4: Cooking....Its what my body does best.
Yep....I am preggo again. Found out a few weeks ago.
Came as a HUGE surprise. Kory and I contemplated having one more for a few months now....I wanted one more, but we had to plan it during a time when Kory could take his two week vacation from the desert. So basically, it meant having the baby anytime after May. We were careful to make sure there were no slip ups. Otherwise, my chances of him being there were slim. Well, Braxton ended up in the hospital and we decided to end that thought....At least for now, Braxton came first. Little did I know, I was already pregger. I had a good ride with this form of Birth Control....But its time for a new course of action after this pregnancy. I am way to fertile.
So here I am...Knocked up. Again.
